John Wheatly, owner and operator of L&W Bedding, taught himself how to build mattresses in the late 70s and the early 80s. In 1988, at just 17-years-old, he decided to go out on his own when he purchased a sewing machine and made customized mattresses for hospitals and nursing homes. After working out of his garage, he opened his first store in Moline, Illinois.

Our on-site factory has an impressive selection of our own brand of mattresses that feature posturized, durable innersprings, latex, natural cotton batting, heaviest weights of foam, and are available in the traditional two-sided and flippable styles.We offer a large variety of options including flippable mattresses in queen, full, and children's sizes, double-sided king, and our most popular style the "Chiro approved" mattress.

We also take measurements to make sure everything's just right. Then we deliver, set up and even take away your old bed if needed.
