Our champion Shiba Inu occasionally will have puppies that will become available for adoption. Our dog guests will always be treated with love and care as they stay in our state-of-the-art facilities for boarding or day camp. Royal Kennels has been breeding and showing for over 35 years, producing some of the top show dogs in the country, with just as many wonderful pets along the way.
Our dogs' bloodlines extend back several generations and originate from many of the world's top kennels. Many of our dogs are bred by champion and grand champion moms and dads, ensuring their pups meet breed standards. All of our dogs are thoroughly temperament tested and cleared of hereditary diseases before being bred.

Dan and I have been showing, breeding, and boarding dogs for close to 40 years. We have lots of fun hobbies but animals are our passion. Dogs, horses, cats, pet foxes and even a pet skunk or two can be found hanging out in one of our 9 huge play yards. Dan and I both live here just a few feet from the kennels to watch over the "furkids" day and night.

Below are several of the unique characteristics of this "big dog in a small body" that can make this breed a challenge to the average dog owner. They are dominant with other dogs and do not usually get along well with other "bossy" dogs of the same sex. They will, however, get along great with another dog or cat that agrees the Shiba is boss.

Here at Royal Kennels, we have selected only the best dogs available for our breeding program, choosing only those with superior health and temperaments. Our bloodlines came from many of the top kennels in the world. All of our moms and dads are home-bred and most are several generations of Royal Kennel lines.
Adoption Application

Royal Kennels cares deeply about the long-term well-being of our dogs. When an owner feels that they can no longer care for their dog or cannot not prove that they are providing the dog a proper home, Royal Kennels will reclaim ownership of the dog. Please see our contract for more information. If you have other dogs, please list their name, breed, sex, age, and if they have been spayed/neutered.
