The trails that take you from forested mountain tops, grassy meadows, coastal scrub and miles of white sand beaches! Our guided trail rides are a wonderful way to explore and enjoy the splendor of the Park. We offer a 1, 2, 3 and 6 hour ride. Trail rides are subject to weather and trail conditions.
For safety reasons, all rides are tailored to accommodate the lowest riding ability level in any grouping of riders. For more advanced riders or special occasions we recommend a private ride. For the youngsters who haven't reach the minimum age of 6 years yet to go on a trail ride, we offer pony rides.

Five Brooks Stable is a full service riding stable for the whole family. There are activities for all ages and kinds of Buckaroos and Buckarettes who wish to enjoy the magnificent Point Reyes National Seashore in the company of their equine pals. We specialize in providing guided trail rides for park visitors who desire an alternative method to enjoy the scenic splendor of the park.

Make it an unforgettable family event, when you ride the beautiful trails of Chanslor Ranch! Feel the "Old Golden West" when you explore the trails and get swallowed by the untouched nature! This is a pleasant, relaxing, slow paced ride along the crest of a small ridge to a shady wooded trail leading into the "Enchanted Forrest" like nature.
Pony Rides

For your youngsters under 6 years of age we have a specially designed pony ride just for them. We utilize our gentlest horses and ponies equipped with saddles designed for little people. One of our wranglers carefully leads your youngster on horseback from the ground using a lead rope. The ride takes us around the little Mill Pond.
Boarding
Report
Consider boarding your personal horse(s) at Five Brooks Ranch. Long term boarding by the month as well as short term daily boarding is available. All boarders receive hay fed twice daily. Mucking out of the stall or corral where your horse(s) are kept is included. Horses that are kept in paddocks receive the opportunity for a daily turn-out.
