Services

Brake Repair

Our brake repair service addresses critical safety components including caliper operation, rotor integrity, and pad wear assessment. We perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify compression issues and hydraulic system performance. By replacing worn components and eliminating air pockets from brake lines, we restore optimal stopping power while ensuring suspension system stability.

Front End Alignment

This precision service corrects steering axis angles and tire contact patterns through caster, camber, and toe-in adjustments. We use advanced equipment to realign suspension components, eliminating uneven tire wear and directional instability caused by warped rotors or worn brake components.

Brake Fluid Flush

We replace contaminated hydraulic fluid to maintain proper brake system compression. This service removes moisture buildup that creates steam compressibility issues, ensuring consistent pedal response and preventing internal corrosion from water intrusion in the brake lines and calipers.

Timing Belt Replacement

Our timing belt service prevents engine failure from belt degradation using manufacturer-specified tensioning procedures. We inspect associated components like water pumps and pulleys during replacement to maintain synchronized valve operations and prevent catastrophic mechanical interference.

Auto Tune-Ups

These comprehensive inspections evaluate ignition systems, fuel delivery, and emission controls alongside brake components. We identify minor wear patterns in pads, rotors, and hydraulic elements during standard maintenance to prevent safety risks and expensive mechanical failures.

Questions

What brake services do you specialize in?

We provide complete brake system services including pad replacement, rotor repair, brake fluid maintenance, and hydraulic system diagnostics for Dallas drivers.

Why should brake repairs be prioritized over other maintenance?

Failed brakes create immediate safety risks unlike other vehicle issues. Our technicians address brake problems first to prevent loss of vehicle control and collision risks.

How do I know if I need brake pad replacement?

Listen for squeaking noises, monitor pedal pressure changes, and watch for vibration when braking - these indicate pad wear requiring professional assessment.

Do you offer emergency brake repairs?

While we don't operate 24/7, we prioritize urgent brake cases and will assist with immediate safety concerns during regular business hours.

What areas do you serve?

We primarily serve Dallas, Texas, with some surrounding areas accessible through our location at 4308 Live Oak Street.

No one answer the phone. I have called multiple times during buisness hours only to get a message that says "can't leave a message because mailbox has not been setup." No a good sign!

Been here twice and they have always been great. As a woman, I'm always a bit nervous taking my car in myself but Carlos and the guys have always been more than fair with the price and quick with service. This is my go-to place and I'd recommend it to anyone.

You know the semi-mythical "honest neighborhood mechanic" that people talk of? Well this is it. Their focus is brakes, alignment and exhaust work but they also do general repairs. If they can't do the work you need, Carlos always seems to know someone who can. Obviously they're doing something right since they have been in business at that location for as long as I can remember and you often see classic and exotic cars there amongst the F150's and Camry's.
