Joshua and his team are based in New York's Hudson Valley, about an hour north of NYC. We specialize in weddings, but also offer family portrait sessions, videography, and a photo booth that can be booked with or without a wedding package. Our new studio space in Newburgh can be rented out for tiny weddings, rehearsal dinners, and elopements.

Joshua is a photographer and videographer with over 20 years of wedding experience, based in New York's Hudson Valley. He is a former photojournalist from Tennessee who brings an unobtrusive and calm demeanor to every wedding. Although he primarily works in the Catskills and Hudson Valley now, he has shot weddings all over the globe.
Weddings

Weddings are more than your cake, flowers, dress, and shoes. Weddings are about your people and enjoying your special day with them. We'll do all we can to capture as many of them as possible with photography, videography, and even a photo booth or drone as our tools. At the end of the day, you should have about 1000 amazing moments to look back on, not 500 photos of your dress hanging in the hallway.
Videography

We have two main options for the videos. You can order one or the other or both. The first and most popular is the short film. We will bring a dedicated videographer to record all day, and at the end of it you end up with a beautiful 5-7 minute film like you see below. We also have the option for the second photographer to record a few milestone moments from a tripod.
Elopements

After witnessing hundreds of weddings at different scales and forming lots of opinions, Joshua and his wife decided to elope in the Catskills in 2017. Luckily, this area is one of the most naturally beautiful locations on the planet, and he was able to buy a little 8 acre evergreen forest where the elopement took place.

Although every wedding and every wedding package is different here are some ballpark starting numbers to give you a better sense of what to expect. For high season weekend weddings (Friday, Saturday, Sunday between April and November), Joshua's minimum packages tend to be around $5,500. Elopement packages start around $1700.
