My son has been here for about 2.5 years and he went from saying 2-3 words at age 2 to whole sentences at age 3. They have worked extremely hard with him and he LOVES coming here! His therapists are amazing and scheduling is very flexible! This place has been a God-send for us! My son has only been coming for a month and he already is asking "when can we eat?" all the time now.

Pediatic Feeding Therapy
Report
For most children, eating is a routine part of each day, however some experience feeding issues that go beyond common picky eating. The complexities that arise can create stress not only for the child, but for the entire family.

The Speech & Language Center is proud to offer a comprehensive program tailored to the needs of both infants and children with feeding therapy needs that focuses on strengthening the mouth muscles needed to learn to chew effectively and tolerate a variety of foods and textures, resulting in positive mealtimes.
Infant Feeding Therapy
Report
For many babies feeding comes naturally. When it doesn't, feeding therapy can help both parent and child. Feeding therapy focuses on strengthening the mouth muscles needed for breast or bottle feeding, chewing and swallowing solid foods, and fostering positive mealtimes. If your baby is having trouble with breast or bottle feeding, or if your baby seems to be a picky eater as you introduce solid foods, a Speech-Language Pathologist can help.
