Tree, Shrub & Stump Removal
Report
There are a lot of reasons you may want or need trees and shrubs removed from your property. They could be blocking an important area of your home, or a tree could be leaning dangerously toward the house. Maybe the roots of the tree or shrubs have entered deep into the ground and disturbed the plumbing lines serving your property.
Trimming, Shaping & Pruning
Report
Tree and shrub trimming is important for aesthetic reasons and to encourage the growth of strong, healthy trees and shrubs. Flowering trees set their blossoms the year before they bloom. Therefore, they won't bloom if these flower buds are trimmed off the tree. The best rule is to always trim flowering trees within 3 weeks of when they finish blooming.
Tree & Shrub Fertilization
Report
The most frequently used, easiest and least expensive method is broadcasting a granular fertilizer on top of the soil. A spreader is calibrated to deliver the desired amount of fertilizer over the root zone. After the application, the area must be watered to dissolve the fertilizer and wash it off the grass and into the soil.
Stump Removal & Lot Clearing
Report
After a tree has been removed, the only thing left to deal with is an unsightly stump. Our stump removal process consists of grinding the stump 8 to 12 inches below grade and then raking the area, covering it with topsoil, and planting grass seed. Of course, the wood chips that result from the grinding make terrific mulch for other plantings!
