Burtell Fire has a history of repeatedly underbidding competition,
completing the project, and doubling price before suing businesses for
settlement.
Burtell Fire has sued multiple businesses in Bozeman, settling each time. After finishing our sprinkler system Burtell Fire claimed that the
original quote was meant to read that each the business owner and the
owner of the building were to pay the balance, resulting in a bill
twice what the original bid. Even though the original contract did not
include any of the stipulations they claimed we ended up paying 3x the bid by the time litigation was
completing the project, and doubling price before suing businesses for
settlement.
