In 1922, William Launder VanderWall founded VanderWall Brothers with a little machinery and a lot of hard work. William wanted to offer quality products with excellent customer service. He recognized that a superior product would be more reliable, last longer, and be more cost efficient in the long run.
The company's offerings have expanded over time from concrete blocks and pavers, to a wide variety of stone products, and fireplace products, most of which are built here in America. Mantels originally were designed to catch the smoke over a fire grate. Over the years, they have gone from artistically ornate pieces of work to very simple construction. We offer several different types. Our barn beam mantelss are re-purposed from locally-owned farms that are either tearing down old construction or replacing them.
