Nassau Pediatric Associates first began caring for the children of our community in "The House Down The Block" in 1953 with Dr Harry King leading the way. As the practice expanded Dr Milton Spinner joined Dr King in 1960 and the families of the neighborhood welcomed them into their homes as house calls were the norm.
The small practice in the small office continued to grow and welcomed Dr Frank Cappelli to the group in 1970, after he returned from a tour of duty in Vietnam. By 1984 the practice had outgrown the "House Down The Block" and moved into new accommodations on Dogwood Ave. House calls were no longer the norm as parents brought their children to Nassau Pediatrics from all over the New York area.
