Family-Owned Funeral Services Since 1961
Hayworth-Miller has served Winston-Salem and surrounding communities for over 60 years as a family-owned business. Founded in 1961 by W. Paul Hayworth and Robert F. Miller, we relocated to our current Silas Creek Parkway location in 1965 and established our first crematory in 1996. With five locations across Forsyth and Davie Counties, including Rural Hall, Kernersville, Advance, and Lewisville, we provide traditional funeral services, cremation options, and unique memorialization solutions. Our team of experienced professionals, including fourth-generation family members, specializes in personalized arrangements that honor individual lives while supporting grieving families.

We maintain two crematories for local service needs and offer livestreaming technology to connect distant loved ones. Our Robert F. Miller Center provides flexible event space for post-service gatherings. Accredited by industry associations through our leadership roles, we combine multi-generational expertise with modern innovations to serve diverse community needs. Our commitment to compassionate care has earned consistent positive feedback from families we've assisted through difficult times.

It is difficult to express the pain one suffers at the loss of a loved one, in my case my mother. Mike Shore came to see us at the house hours before she had passed and I asked him to please not have my father sign any documents yet. He was gentle, understanding and very patient with us. He understood the pain and didn't push us into any hasty decisions nor sale. When the time came we called on him and he behaved like a true gentleman, genuine heart and wonderful understanding. I know the decision is difficult and you will have many choices but I strongly recommend you speak to them because they
