Luxe Wax Studio & Spa is the brainchild of La Grange-native, Andrea Smith. After serving several years in the U.S. Navy, Andrea decided to follow her passion for helping others feel good about themselves and pursued a career in the beauty industry. She became a licensed esthetician in 2011, and started Luxe Wax Studio as a home/mobile business based in Oak Park, Illinois.
She quickly developed a devoted clientele and outgrew her humble beginnings. Wanting to further expand her reach in the health and beauty industries, Andrea earned a Massage Therapist license in 2015. She then began looking for a location that could accommodate her burgeoning business, and decided to set up shop in La Grange.

As a military veteran, she has gone from serving her country to serving her community. Each month, Luxe collects donations for a charitable organization or cause chosen by customers.
