Barks & Recreation was founded on a simple philosophy: Love each and every dog like they are part of OUR FAMILY! Because of this, we are a crate free facility which means we work with each and every dog to integrate with one another whenever possible. We dedicate a full time staff member to each group of dogs and rotate them inside and outside on a regimented schedule for tons of play, love and care.
Whenever we have dogs boarding with us they have their own private condo that includes beds, blankets, toys and even their own T.V. (set to animal planet of course!). However, they only use their condo at night and we make sure that we have a staff member scheduled to stay with them at the facility overnight in case they need anything!

Xavier watches over and plays with all the dogs that come to us for daycare and boarding, and she also helps out with reception as well! Just like all of our other staff, Xavier is certified in Pet First Aid & CPR.

Mindy is such a breath of fresh air and just an overall positive and happy person. She truly loves the dogs and shows it everyday through her work. She loves country music, travelling and interacting with all of our amazing customers!

Barks and Recreation is located at 8486 Seminole Blvd, Seminole Florida. Furthermore we are centrally located to service all of Pinellas County's Dog Daycare needs. Our Dog Daycare is set up with your fur babies safety and fun in mind! As a result we have a 5000 square foot play yard that we call "Shady Oaks" because it's surrounded by towering oak trees!
