Founded in 1977, Rosewood is one of Utah's most venerable recording institutions. Featuring a relaxed, homey atmosphere, years of experience and excellent gear, we trust you will be happy with your results. After being in two different downtown locations, in 1981 Rosewood finally came to rest on the banks of the scenic Provo River.
Grand Piano

We have a REALLY GREAT Yamaha C7 grand piano. Rich and mellow, and we have just the right mics and preamps to make it sound wonderful coming out of the speakers. This piano will PLAY BACK and RECORD MIDI files. So you can record MIDI live as you play the piano in the studio, or you can program your piano part at home and bring the MIDI file into the studio to track on a real piano.

We love to record drums here at Rosewood. Getting a good drum sound is an extremely important foundation for any song and we have the tools to make this happen. In the studio, we have the right equipment, knowledge and studio design to give you a great drum sound. Rosewood is the home of the well known drum loop and sample library, Drums On Demand.
Guitars & Frets

At Rosewood Recording Company, we have years of experience recording guitars and other fretted instruments. We have amassed a collection of gear- microphones, preamps and compressors particularly suited to bring out the acoustic qualities of these instruments. Over the years, we have discovered that the best way to get a great guitar sound is to start out with a great guitar.
Rates

Studio time is charged by the hour, with a one hour minimum, in quarter hour segments after the first hour. 24 hours notice required for cancellation. Our years of engineering experience allows us to make the most economical use of your time in the studio. For album projects that need a block of studio time that equals 50 hours or more, and is paid in advance, we offer a discount of ten per cent.
