Our 2-year-old classes introduce children to structured learning through play. Parents co-participate in activities that build social and motor skills. Sessions run 9:00 AM12:15 PM on designated days, focusing on foundational development in a nurturing environment.
3-Year-Old Classes
3-year-old classes blend teacher-led and free-choice activities to enhance creativity and independence. Parents assist in classrooms twice weekly. Curriculum emphasizes early literacy, numeracy, and collaborative play to prepare children for pre-k success.
Pre-K Classes
Our Pre-K program offers full-week sessions with a mix of play and academic preparation. Parents participate as aides, supporting lessons aligned with state standards. Children develop critical thinking and social skills for elementary school transition.

Annandale Cooperative Preschool has been home to our family for going on 3 years and has provided a warm and caring environment for our son to grow in. The teachers are all amazing and carry a background in early childhood education. In addition, the learning through play philosophy of the school fits our child's needs and growth perfectly. I can't begin to describe how much the school becomes a place you're happy to be going to in the morning.

Incredible school with an amazing staff. My daughter is thriving at ACPS. They make the transition to school seamless and fun. Mrs. Kuhn is an angel and teaches Rose and our family so much. We are so grateful to be a part of the ACPS family.
