Dawson is the son of Randall County Sherrif Corporal Montano and has cerebral palsy. He is having his knees reconstructed and putting titanium rods in his legs so that he can hopefullly regain his ability to walk by himself. Rudy's wife, Faith, will be staying at home with Dawson during the duration of his recovery and hopefully making Dawon's dream a reality.
