About Us
Report
We are not the oldest or the newest school in the city and we are not a corporate franchise but we have been helping thousands of students reach their musical potential beginning in 1998 since our inception in Old Town. We offer lessons to students of all ages and sizes; some of whom have gone on to become professional performers and others who have gone off top university music programs.
History of the School
Report
We focused on the core of our business which was music education and private lessons while the corporate center developed a cutting edge website for selling musical instruments. The music school was had its own space, teachers and managers. It was very unique because we offered training on the digital equipment that the store was selling as well as training on world instruments such as the didgeridoo, Koto, and Celtic Harp.
Private Lessons
Report
We DO offer professional training for professional and aspiring musicians as well as teacher training. Private lessons are the most traditional and effective way to learn a musical instrument. The speed of modern day technology has not replaced the efficiency of learning an instrument when cultivated between a nurturing student/teacher bond.
Early Childhood Classes
Report
Childhood Music Program is designed to expose and introduce children under the age of 5 to music. Typically students begin private instrumental instruction on select instruments around the age of 5. The significance of the age of five years correlates to the development of the musical motor skills needed for playing and learning an instrument.
Advanced Training
Report
We are not only training beginners and intermediate students, we also train professional performing musicians and active music teachers most of which already have college degrees and academic achievements already. The university programs are often not fully equipping students with the real skills and connections they need to secure to get the parts and roles they need.
