I went with a group of friends to take a class trial. The experience was really nice, the instuctor was very patient and took time for the 7 of us. They allow you to use as many clay as needed, even if you mess up, wich is great. They will give you a small history class and then comes the demo, with lots of mess, so be prepare, if you are ready to take it to the next step you can request more classes to put your creation in the fire, paint them and glazing.

What an amazing group of people who run Mudslingers pottery studio in Louisville, CO! Full disclosure - I currently volunteer here. I took the Beginner Pottery Class for Adult's - a class that met once a week for five weeks - in the winter of 2018, then again at the beginning of 2019. The owner passed away in early 2019 sadly and the other pottery studio members stepped up to help run the studio in his absence. It was at this time that I started volunteering. While the pottery studio is located off the main street in Louisville, CO, the actual studio space is a little more secluded because it

I booked a private lesson for a my friend and I, for $60 each. Kaito was our instructor and was so helpful and patient. The clay we used was having issues and we quickly started over and got back to it. We finished with 2 pieces each. Can't wait to get these shipped to us. Highly would recommend !

Some of the people that work here are great, others would make you not want to go here. More than once Ive shown up and theyve not opened when they were supposed to. I have also had many pieces go missing between visits. Loved the first class I took, good mix of u at ruction and free time. Just dont love how parts of their business are handled.

I took a private lesson with my 11 year old niece, and we both had a great experience. Staff was very patient with us and the price is very reasonable. I would love to try it again sometime!
