I cant say enough of how wonderful, caring, thoughtful, professional, and honest Kevin has been throughout the process of my daughters service. My daughter tragically passed away while vacationing in Syracuse, our family reside in Miami Florida. After calling most funeral homes in Syracuse we came across Mathewson-Faroni who were by far best priced home in Syracuse. More importantly Kevin was the most honest and direct person I met who not only explaining his part of the process of documentation and what he does as the funeral director, Kevin went above and beyond my expectations.

There is not enough space to tell you how kind, understanding, compassionate, and helpful Mr. Kevin Mathewson is. He's exactly what you need to get through this difficult process. During the Covid19 pandemic, I was unable to travel home and he did all the arrangements for me...at a more reasonable cost than anywhere else. To top it off, he sent pictures for me. His expert advice and experience are invaluable. The sincere compassion and help he gave me was above and beyond expectations.

Working with Mathewson-Forani Funeral home allowed our family to focus on the grieving and not worry over the details. There is so much we didn't know that Kevin just took care of. There was never any pressure, in fact he was the only one of six funeral directors that didn't try to sell us an urn we didn't need. The facility is comfortable and inviting. The people are professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable. And the cost was significantly more reasonable than others in the area. I'd highly recommend.
