Then designed especially for our older children, the six-room Clubhouse provides a place for kindergarten-5th grade students to receive homework assistance, relax and play after a long day of learning at public school.

Heritage offers a full day, quality learning program. Most classes are open from 6:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Active instruction time is between 8:30am and 5:30pm with table manipulatives and group game time before and after active instruction. A description of each preschool class at Heritage is below.

Homework Assistance: Available Monday through Thursday for our Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students in a separate quiet room. Field Trips: School Age students attend field trips throughout the school year and during the entire summer. Summer Activities: Playing in our very own large above-ground water spray park, puppet shows, magicians, and more!

HLC is located on a large three-acre campus. The facility is composed of two distinct connecting buildings, one for preschoolers and one for school-age children. My name is DeeDee Schultz. Over the last 25 years, I've worked as a preschool teacher, a fifth grade public school teacher, and a preschool director. My degree is in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Reading from the University of North Texas. I am a McKinney resident and a mother to four precious children, and a wife of 27 years to my high school sweetheart.
