Blanco Performing Arts
We are so excited that the music continues! We take health and safety very seriously at Blanco Performing Arts. In an effort to allow people to confidently attend indoor events we have implemented a mandatory masking policy in effect until further notice. There are many other steps we are taking to keep our audiences and performers safe.

We encourage you to review these here. We look forward to a time in the future where Great Music Up Close can again mean we can see your smiling faces and share fellowship as close together as we would all prefer, but for now we are happy to have Great Music Close to Home back in the beautiful Uptown Ballroom.

This year we are expanding our horizons and offering enhanced experiences as part of our Inner Circle. We will be following these CDC guidelines for indoor masking based on Blanco County pandemic conditions at the time of every event.

In the event of a pandemic related concert or season cancellation BPA will offer all ticket holders a choice of credit towards future concerts, of converting their ticket purchase price into a tax deductible donation, or a full refund.Through the generosity of our donors we have been able to keep ticket prices very similar for 12 seasons.
Jonah Kim and Friends
Report
We open our season with a experience that expands Blanco Performing Arts. Audience favorite Jonah Kim, the dynamite cellist, returns with his wife San Francisco Ballet Soloist Julia Rowe. Together with acclaimed collaborative pianist Robert Koenig they will present a recital that stretches the imagination by introducing ballet "in the round."
Trio 488
Report
Pianist Jason Kwak is a great friend and support of Blanco Performing Arts, co-sponsoring BPA's annual Young Artist Concert with his organization the Texas State International Piano Competition. We are thrilled to invite him to fill the Ballroom with the unique sonorities of double reeds and piano.
Scott Cuellar
Report
Audiences may remember Scott from his multiple appearances at The Ballroom as partners for Stephanie Sant'Ambrogio and Ilya Schterenberg. He returns with a solo program that will include late Beethoven and the Schumann Davidsbundlertanz, of which the composer said "In each and every age joy and sorrow are mingled: remain pious in joy and be ready for sorrow with courage."
