Doctor Pokorny began working in the medical field as an orderly in the emergency room at the age of 18. He continued working in the hospital throughout his years in medical school at North Eastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown Ohio. He graduated from medical school as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, the honor society for medical students.
