Shaye, a nickname given to Sharon by her mother at a young age, comes from a talented line of entrepreneurs. Her maternal grandfather was a chef in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, and her father, the late John E. Bond, owner of Bond's Catering Service. It was with this company that Sharon coordinated and produced her first event in 1997 and has loved it ever since.
