Brands & Plans
Report
Buying a hearing aid is a big decision with many variables that are often not explained well through the power of the internet. Finding quality, expert information and advice on what to look for in hearing aids and why you should buy a certain aid isn't easy because manufacturers don't often use the same terminology.
About Hearing Impairments
Report
A hearing impairment is the gradual or sudden loss of your ability to hear. According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, hearing impairments affect one in three people between the ages of 65 and 74 and half the people over the age of 75. Typical signs of a hearing impairment include difficulty hearing people in crowded, noisy rooms, having to turn up your TV or radio, muffled noises, and ringing in your ears.
Hearing Aid Checkups
Report
Hearing aids are amazing pieces of technology that can change the lives of those suffering from hearing impairments. Meant for daily use, hearing aids are strong and durable, but over time they can run into some problems. With proper care and regular maintenance, you can extend the longevity of your hearing aid.
