The Doctors
Report
Dr. Bellingham grew up in Sunnyvale, a small town between Mesquite and Garland. He went to Baylor University in Waco for undergrad. He then attended Dental School in San Antonio at the UT Health Science Center School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2007. He then went on to an advanced residency program at the Central Texas VA hospital in Temple, Texas.
Dental Exams and X-Rays
Report
Routine dental exams are important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Additionally, they can help to avoid the financial costs associated with large treatment plans later on. The Academy of General Dentistry recommends twice yearly checkups for people of all ages. At this frequency, most problems can be caught while they remain in an early stage.
Dental Cleanings and Sealants
Report
Routine dental cleanings are important to maintaining good oral hygiene. Professional cleaning by a hygienist can remove mineralized plaque that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, particularly in areas that are difficult to reach. It is recommended you go in for a cleaning once every six months.
Dental Bridge
Report
A dental bridge may be used to fill the space(s) left by missing teeth. A dental bridge helps maintain the full function of your teeth and mouth and the look of your smile. Your dentist will attach a dental bridge to the teeth on either side of a missing tooth or teeth. The space that the bridge spans is filled with natural-looking artificial teeth.
