Our mattress sales include a variety of discounted North Carolina made Kingsdown luxury mattresses, Futons, and Beds. Our family loves doing what we do. Helping people get a great nights sleep. Kingsdown's heritage is deeply rooted in sleep science. As the pioneers of the bedMATCH System, we have collected over 10,000 sleep profiles from individuals with all body shapes and sizes. Kingsdown is passionate about the science of sleep. Most importantly, we led a widely publicized research project on the affect a custom fit sleep surface can have on sleep quality and comfort.
Kingsdown Collection are handcrafted mattresses made in North Carolina since 1904. In the past we offered quality name brands like Sealy, Simmons, Serta, Temper-Pedic. Kingsdown Collection mattresses are the only brand we have kept selling since we opened in 2001. Every Kingsdown mattress we sell has been handcrafted in North Carolina.

Our to-go place for beds. We run a 5 room B&B and our mattresses are Kingsdown, which is headquartered in North Carolina. We like to put our dollars in local businesses. We bought our first mattress from Patrick at Affordable Bedding in 2016 and keep going back for more. Great products and great service is a winning combination for a great night's sleep!

My husband and I purchased a mattress for our daughter and her partner. It was a very fast and satisfying shopping experience. Patrick is knowledgeable and very helpful to find the right choice. We were impressed and felt no pressure at all. Delivery was quick as well. The delivery was scheduled for 12:00-2:00 and the crew came exactly at noon. They were polite and quickly set up the bed. No mess no fuss. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Really frustrating in my opinion. They claim on the website "prices so low we can't post them, call for prices" and then are closed on a common business day making it impossible to get the needed information to make an informed purchasing decision. Seems like a manipulative way to convince people the prices are better than they are in reality.

Bought a bed and weren't happy with it. True to their word, we were able to switch it out after almost two months for a bed better suited to the way we sleep.
We've had this mattress almost a year now and still love it. Great doing business with this no hassle, no pressure, true to their word store.

Patrick (owner) is very knowledgeable about his products and friendly with his customers. Come to find out that Affordable Bedding is the oldest mattress store in Asheville and that says something. The store has an excellent selection of mattresses and futons.
I highly recommend anyone in the search for a new bed or futon to stop by the store!

I decided to give Affordable Bedding a try primarily because of its high ratings on line. I was not disappointed. I learned a lot about mattresses. All of my questions were answered and I left with an order for a new mattress and its delivery. I have never bought a bed this quickly before and I have not been sorry about my decision. Great products. Great salesperson.

Affordable Bedding is Amazing! I went there because of great Yelp reviews. It was great to be able to get clear explanations about the different engineering and functionality of mattresses, without high pressure sale techniques. I got the perfect mattress and a gorgeous bed! The movers are friendly, careful to not damage my walls, and just overall nice folks. I highly recommend Affordable Bedding for a high quality mattress, bed, and customer service.

I was able to get a bed and have it delivered the same day since I arrived early enough at the store! They are super knowledgeable and happy to help, making a recommendation based on sleeping position.
This is a quintessential family-owned business. They said the vast majority of their revenue stays in Asheville.
Felt clean and never pressured. I also appreciated that they actually pointed me to a clearance bed first instead of pulling the "used car salesman trick" of starting with the highest bed and working down AKA price anchoring. I felt like they wanted to sell me a bed I would be comfortable
