Kate Webber is a Nova Scotia native transplanted to Rhode Island by way of her father's career in oceanography. Prior to opening Root, Kate spent over a decade managing a bustling bar in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
Kate is responsible for quality control, menu development, and supply chain operations of the business. With extensive experience in the food industry and a Masters in Business Administration from URI, Kate is driven to ensure the continued growth and success of Root. A native of Cranston, Rhode Island, Paul Webber is now a Newport local.
