Instruction is based on a combination of natural horsemanship philosophy and classical techniques. Students learn how to interact with horses by building a strong relationship with the horse. Lead line lessons are for kids 3-6 yrs. Its a class for a parent or guardian to participate with their child and share the experience of horses.
Drill Teams

Promenade drill teams are a combination of learning and refining horsemanship skills and riding drill routines. The goal is to become precise before adding speed. Most of our drills are done at a trot. Students must be able to walk, trot, stop and turn their horses. Our drill teams are based on ability so any of the drill teams are made up of various ages.

Training at Promenade is based on natural horsemanship philosophy and classical principals. We believe lightness is the key to creating a wonderful riding partner. By lightness, I mean your horse responds with the correct maneuver with a just a small amount of pressure. Also, realize to get lightness you will have to apply as much pressure as necessary or as long as necessary to get the desired maneuver.
Horse Agility

Promenade Stable offers classes in several horse activities including horse agility, liberty and clinics. Horse Agility is not only an upcoming horse sport but it is a great way to build an extensive language with your horse. Horse agility is ground work with obstacles. Each month a new course of ten obstacles is presented and you can tape yourself and enter the competition.
