I happily offer a free consultation to help answer any questions you may have. This will allow us time to chat and answer any questions you may have and work together to determine the next steps.
I provide both assessments to help determine your child's needs, especially in regards to their function within the classroom and/or within their home environment. I also provide 1-1 speech and language therapy for your little one, focusing on the following areas of needs: expressive/receptive language, early intervention (0-3 year olds), articulation, phonological processing and social language (pragmatics).

Hi, my name is Sarah Simkin and I've been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 2008. I graduated with my Masters in Science, Speech and Language Pathology from California State University, Northridge. I am a currently certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the state of California.

I understand the stress a parent may feel when they are unsure if their little one may need speech and language therapy and how to support them at home. I happily offer phone/zoom consultation where together, we will figure out what the best next steps are for your little one. We will use this time to create a game plan and goals for parents to work on during that week to support not only their little ones needs but the families overall needs.

In light of everything going on in the world, I will be offering my services virtually. I will offer consulation/support to parents via zoom, provide speech therapy services via zoom and depending on the case, conduct my speech and language assessments via zoom as well. The evaluation may be done in person, depending on the circumstance.
