Iowa Soccer Club

Every player, regardless of natural soccer ability, is given the same focus, attention, and devotion by the ISC coaching staff. ISC coaches are dedicated to helping coach and mentor all players with the same attention and concern as any other player in our program. ISC coaches will not give less attention to a young athlete simply because they may seem to show less potential than their peers.

The Iowa Soccer Club is committed to providing the most dynamic, experienced and qualified coaching staff of any soccer club in Iowa. Personal Philosophy In Coaching: Every player deserves my best because my impact with the kids that I work with is not measured in wins, but rather by how hard I work for each player in terms of pushing them, and making sure that they know I have an expectation for them to improve.

The ISC Alumni Page profiles some of the amazing players and coaches that have represented the ISC over the past 20+ years, and hopefully by highlighting their experiences, it provides motivation and guidance to the current ISC players and families. We will be adding profiles periodically throughout the year.

The ISC offers five programs to choose from to suit the different levels of interest and commitment of each player. Two of the five soccer programs are seasonal, and the other three programs are year round programs. All programs are led by our Director of Coaching Jon Cook and utilize our staff of professional coaches under his direction.

The ISC Academy is our entry level program for 6U to 8U players. The Academy is a practice only program for young players with a developing interest in soccer. Practices are held only on one day per week on Friday nights and each practice is one hour long. The kids always scrimmage at every practice, but there is no travel involved with this program and the kids do not play official games on a separate day.
