Wanumetonomy Golf & Country Club is a private club with a classic links-style course. Maintain ethical and financial standards that ensure the continued viability of Wanumetonomy for now and the future. Wanumetonomy, translated as "windy hill" according to local lore, was founded in 1922 and is located on the western edge of Aquidneck Island in Middletown, Rhode Island.

Wanumetonomy was also the local Narragansett Sachem or Governor of the Aquidneck Island in 1638 in which the Club is named. The 18-hole course, whose fairways wind their way along the contours of Wanumetonomy's hillside expanse, provides the player an always-changing view of Narragansett Bay's East Passage.
