Every business venture begins with a story, and ours is a little crazy. It all started in the early days of 2006 when our founder, Jay Boyles, took a leap that birthed the legend. Jay left a stable career in furniture sales to open Crazy Jay's Mattress Outlet, a factory-direct retail mattress store with big dreams: dreams of rock-bottom prices for superior quality.

Located on Main Street in Cobleskill, New York, everyone thought he was nuts. Starting a business at the onset of the Great Recession? They told him, "You're crazy, Jay, " and the name stuck. Over 10 successful years later, Jay's business is still the local leader in sleep. Unlike our competitors, we know mattresses from manufacturer to retailer.

All of our "Crazy Jay" memory foam mattresses ship direct from the manufacturer by FedEx Ground in 3-5 business days, at no cost to you as our customer. As a disclaimer, all orders are unique and shipping may take longer depending on the circumstances. FedEx tracking numbers will be provided for any order.

Last week I needed a new mattress and box spring and after looking at Walmart and other places, I just wasn’t finding anything close to what I wanted. I had a smaller budget to work with and after talking to a close friend, they recommended Crazy Jay’s. Jay is one of the nicest business owners I’ve ever met and I wish more people had his customer service skills. I would HIGHLY recommend Crazy Jay’s. It’s local, reasonably priced, and as a customer you are actually cared about. 5 stars. Would definitely buy again in the future if I ever need a new mattress.

The owner is very attentive. He really tries to get you what you are looking for in a mattress. And if he doesn't have it he will order it. He also delivers and makes sure you are happy with the mattress. I don't buy mattress nowhere else but at crazy Jay's.
