We opened our doors in 2001 and have continued to serve the loyal pet loving community of Rabun County and surrounding areas. Shady Oaks Kennel is nestled in the Northeast Georgia mountains near the town of Clayton - only two hours north of Atlanta and 45 minutes south of Highlands, NC. Lake Burton, Lake Rabun and Seed Lake are minutes from our doorstep and the outposts for the Chattooga River are just down the road.
We are a full service pet resort that offers long and short term boarding, grooming, bathing, nail clipping and daycare. The qualified staff at Shady Oaks Kennel will make sure that your pet is safe, healthy and happy while in our care. We adore our pets as well as our boarders. We live on site and love going to work each day.
