Our mission is to promote the advancement of classical and contemporary dance by maintaining a performing company, presenting a high quality season, and providing both dance education and community outreach. The Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre (BRBT) stands in unity with the arts community and does not tolerate racism or injustice.
During these challenging times, we want to make it abundantly clear that BRBT supports black lives, equality, and inclusion. The arts, especially dance, allow freedom of expression and are for everyone to participate in and/or enjoy. We are proud to partner with the Manship Theatre at Shaw Center for Arts to host Philadanco! in Baton Rouge this Fall.
