All dogs must be dog friendly with all dogs. We do not board dogs that are dog selective. Dogs must be people-friendly and well socialized to board and attend daycare here with us. All dogs are required to attend one full day (6 to 8 hours) of daycare for an evaluation before future boarding or daycare, because dogs go cage free and spend the majority of the day playing with their fellow guests.

The reason we require you to keep your dog social by attending daycare, or a quick overnight, is to try to keep our environment as safe as possible and to prevent any GI/tummy issues. If it's been over 4 months since your dogs last visit, we require dogs to come in for 1 day of daycare or more depending on the dog.

Founded in 2001, Linda Cates has always had a life long dream of opening a kennel. She has 30 years experience as a groomer, 20 years experience in boarding, and is certified in animal abuse investigations. After working at other kennels before opening my own, I knew there had to be a better way. So many things just did not work.

If your dog has any dog or human aggression during boarding, owners need to have a person to contact in case of emergency so they can come pick them up.

The daycare/evaluation is simply to determine if your pet is pet-friendly / people-friendly and well socialized. Vaccines required for Boarding and Daycare Rabies DH2PP-L, Bordetella and Canine Infuenza 1st Vaccine and Booster 2-4 weeks after 1st vaccine.
Grooming

If your pet is here for boarding and grooming it is some times hard to put a time for pick-up, especially during peak season or after a major holiday. Our policy is you have one hour to pick up your dog after grooming or they will be put back in daycare/boarding a charge will be charged a full day of boarding.
