Curious Escape Rooms is the 1st real-life escape game in N. Central Massachusetts. These unique adventures are full of fun, tangible, and clever puzzles. There are clues hidden every where, perfect for secret snoops (That's right, we want you to look through all our stuff in the puzzle room!) These experiences are fully immersive and well-decorated combining modern art installations, immersive theater, murder-mysteries, and just down-right play.

Having grown up in the gateway city of Fitchburg, Audrey Chow aspired to help revitalize downtown near the commuter rail, Fitchburg State University, and the Fitchburg Art Museum.
Coming from a background in set decoration in the film and TV industry (IMDb), human services, and a love for modern art installation, immersive experiences, and play, starting an escape room in downtown Fitchburg felt like the perfect match for Chow and partner FSU alumni Jeremy Pendleton who also had a love of puzzle design and passion for revitalizing the city as a former intern of the mayor's office.

There once was a woman who obtained something so valuable it was both precious and dangerous. Unwilling to destroy it, she hid it somewhere no one would find it: shrunk inside a child's dollhouse. She entered the portal and stored it somewhere inside with the key to the dollhouse before they could get their hands on it.

Curious Escape Rooms is an unique experience. Our first adventure is the Dollhouse with a completely original story and series of puzzles designed by owners Audrey Chow and Jeremy Pendleton. We are the first escape room in North Central MA. You and your team will have 1 hour to complete the mission and escape by solving a series of puzzles and working together.

Booking a private game during our regular hours confirms that no strangers can join your team. Simply select the number of participants and check off "Private Game, " then choose your date and time slot. All Private Games are $224 for up to 8 players and $28 per additional person, which can be purchased in advanced or in person.
