At You Lucky Dog!, our mission is simple. We want your dogs to love us as much as they love you. That means providing the same detailed attention, love, playfulness and high quality care that they receive from you every day. All of our dog walks & pet sitting visits are privately done 1-on-1, allowing us to focus exclusively on your pet. We love ALL breeds of dogs (cats too!) & strive to give your pet the same loving care & attention that it receives from you. We provide daily pupdates of each visit via text or email along with pictures & video of our adventures!

You Lucky Dog was established in 2013 and has quickly grown to be a top rated professional dog walking and pet sitting service provider in the North Haven, Hamden, Wallingford and areas of New Haven Connecticut including East Rock and Wooster Square. Our number one priority is the health, safety, and well-being of your dog while they are in our care.

I grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts where my dog obsession began at six-years- old when my parents finally gave in to the relentless pleads of my sister and I for a family dog. Mackie, a Wheaton terrier, was my best friend growing up and we did everything together. When I graduated high school and left him behind to study Psychology at Quinnipiac University, I was absolutely miserable!

At You Lucky Dog, our number one priority is the health, safety and well-being of your dog when they are in our care. We also want your dog to be happy and will go out of our way to make it happen. Besides tending to their basic needs like food, water, walks and bathroom breaks, we believe in focusing on both physical and mental stimulation for your dog (while also giving them their daily dose of fun!).

All of our dog walks are done on a one-on-one basis. The only exceptions for this is if you have multiple dogs in your household. Otherwise, we don't do group walks so that your dog receives the undivided attention that they deserve! Provide you with a "pupdate" highlighting the days events and times when your dog went to the bathroom.

Are you going away on vacation and need someone to take care of your dog or cat while you're away? Then our vacation pet sitting visits are perfect for you! Let our pet sitters shower your pets with the love and attention they deserve while you are away. Provide you with a "pupdate" highlighting the days events as well as their bathroom activity.
