Natomas Auto Body & Paint, Inc., established in 1995, offers over two decades of auto body shop experience in the heart of Sacramento, CA. Owner Dave McNicol began his career in the auto body industry at the ripe young age of 20 as an apprentice in a 15,000-square-foot auto body shop in Utah. There he gained valuable tools utilized to open his own auto body shop in Utah, which he ran for more than seven years before moving to California.

AVOID THIS SHOP! unless you are okay with having your vehicle sitting there for weeks without them calling you for any updates or statuses. I had to call this shop weekly to try and get any status and would then be told I'd get a call back but never would. It took a whole WEEK! to get a quote for a simple adjustment on my frame after it was on their frame rack the third day. Two weeks later, I decided to pull my vehicle out as they didn't have my best interest and my vehicle just sat there, but, still had to pay their ridiculous, $293 fee to get that quote. I took my car there because they are my insurance company's authorized repair center and where they do the estimates. They offered a free loaner car. I thought I could save a few hundred on a rental by using the loaner. When I arrived the very big receptionist was yelling at the guys in the back to take out garbage and to do other chores. One guy came out to check in my car and looked like he was on drugs, sweating profusely. He took my key and said he would look it over. A few minutes later he took me to the "Loaner" car. Scandal! These buffoons were dispatched through AAA to tow my truck. AAA covers the hook up and first 5 miles of the tow - we got towed 18 miles.
When they showed up, we asked how much per mile for the extra miles. The guy said he would have to look at the GPS to tell us. Then he hooked up the truck before telling us or having us sign anything. Once it was loaded they told my boyfriend (not ME, the member/payment person) 12/mile.
They charged up $156 for a 18 mile tow and never got my signature or agreement.
I then called the company to ask their tow rates. They charge $55 to hook up and $3

My car died unexpectedly on a trip to Marysville. Thankfully, I had finished with my business first before my fuel pump (only 8 months old) died. I called AAA and got towed to Natomas. Even though I had dropped in on an obviously very-busy shop (all the bays and lifts were full), Charles took the time to diagnose my problem and run the appropriate tests. He even called the place where I had gotten my fuel pump installed. My car was involved in a minor accident. The person who hit me was a Progressive insurance customer and the agent is affiliated with the Natomas Body Shop. He approved covering the claim and estimated repairs. We next talked to the body shop people about doing the work & found them friendly and professional so we gave them the job. I'm sorry I'm not better with names so I could list everyone we talked to but Patty and the rest of the staff were good with follow-ups.
