MW Quarter Horses was founded in 1999. With a strong background in the ranching heritage, MW Quarter Horses has been raising Quarter Horses with talent for the whole family. From ranch horses, reining horses, and 4-H horses to just good all- around family horses. We are a family-owned and operated business nestled in Mountainous Bear Lake Valley, in Northern Utah.
Horses and livestock are an essential part of our lives as well as a part of our heritage and we hope they will continue to be for many generations to come. We use our horses on the ranch for checking cows, doctoring, sorting, moving, calving, fencing and in the show ring. MW Quarter horses has come to value a well trained, broke horse.

Group Parties/ Events

Bring the whole family and come ride with MW Quarter Horses. The group party is by far our most popular ride. This hands on experience is great for small and large groups alike. We show you how to catch, saddle, and ride the horses. The riding takes place in a riding arena-paddock setting.
We also offer the Horsemanship Scouting Merit Badge during the family reunion party free of charge, should you want to earn it as well as have a good time riding around.

Trail Rides

The 1 hour, and 2 hour trail rides feature a breathtaking view with rolling hills covered with aspens, pine trees, wild flowers, and grasses. Along with Majestic Mountain ranges that overlook the Bear Lake valley. Come see the fleeting deer among the aspens, the call of the mighty hawk, the great elk, and the occasional moose.
Austrailian Shepherds

We raise Quarter Horses and Angus cattle, and have always had a good working Australian Shepherd by our side. We think they make great family dogs! They are our kids' best friend and are so kind and intelligent. They make our ranch work a lot easier helping us herd cattle and they are a great companion when riding out or training our American Quarter Horses.
