Report
With an emphasis on quality and affordability, in a country club atmosphere, Lindsey courses are making a presence in the game of golf. Under the direction of Chairman, Jim Lindsey, and son, Lyndy Lindsey, Course Designer, Lindsey courses provide a year-round pastime which may be enjoyed by those of all ages and skill levels.
Hole # 1
Report
The first hole on the course is a challenging par 4. The fairway is hidden far below the hill, 210 yards from the first tee. A tee shot out of the chute of trees 100 yards from the tee will make accuracy a premium. Anything left will bound into the fairway off the side of a steep hill. Going right is jail with no parole.
Hole # 3
Report
This Par 4 dogleg right is protected by trees on the right and opens up to the left. The tee shot favors a faded 185 yard carry to a generous fairway. Left's defense is rolling mounds and medium rough. A small rocky creek crosses the fairway 50 yards short of the green, which must be negotiated off the tee as well as on the approach shot.
Hole # 6
Report
The first par 5 on the golf course provides plenty of nervous energy from the tee. Out-of-bounds skirts the right side of the fairway and water looms left the entire length of the hole. Never mind that, just hit it straight. It will usually take three shots to get on this level 545 yard hole. The green is receptive to short irons, but can have its difficult greenside woes with rolling mounds on the rear and sides of the green.
Hole # 7
Report
The shortest par 4 on the course, this 311 yard hole is protected in front by a wide creek with huge rocks banking the front bunker and green side. A long iron lay up shot will provide a gentle wedge into a receptive green. The backdrop is a steep hillside covered by trees and rough. Number seven is a beautiful hole that can yield a birdie to anyone and will be remembered by its gentle vulnerability for those who play conservative.
