It has approximately 75 boarding spaces and the entire building is heated and air conditioned. We have 6 extra large play areas, where your pet will enjoy unrestricted play time. The Kuttlers live on the premises which allows for 24 hour supervision. The Kuttler family has made Sun-Kiva their home since 2006 and are well known for their care and dedication to the animals.

Sun-Kiva Kennel has Pickup and Delivery Service to Gainesville, Melrose, Keystone Heights, Ocala and surrounding areas. We will come directly to your door to pick up your pet and safely transport them to the Kennel, along with all their belongings. Please check the boarding page for rates. We know that special dogs have special foods, and we prefer that boarders bring along their favorite meals, snacks, and treats.

ALCACHUA COUNTY - All roads lead to Sun-Kiva Kennel. From Gainesville just follow East University avenue until US 20 splits off to the right just East of Waldo/Williston roads. Follow US 20 to Hawthorne. Just before the bridge, exit to the right, and at the light at Hwy. 301, turn Right. Go South on Hwy.
