Kailua Acupuncture Clinic was established in 1989 by Dr. Joni Kroll, D.Ac. Dr. Joni opened the clinic along side Kailua Wellness Center, her husband Dr. Douglas Kroll's chiropractic and wellness center. Dr. Joni has been offering Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to the windward side and the island of O'ahu since then.
Kailua Acupuncture Clinic is also blessed with wonderful staff who strive to serve each and every one of their patients with compassion, efficiency and aloha. We believe in the innate capacity of the body to heal. We have seen amazing responses, even in chronic and severe conditions.

She discovered that a school on Oahu was beginning a new semester and she qualified for admission having already completed a pre-med program. She began classes in Oriental Medicine three weeks after her first acupuncture treatment. Dr. Joni graduated with honors from the Oriental Medical Institute in Honolulu, HI and opened Kailua Acupuncture Clinic in 1989.
