Trail Use Guidelines
Report
Please respect private property rights of any adjacent homes near the trail so that the ART remains a "good neighbor trail". Trail Etiquette: yield = slow down, be prepared to stop, establish communication, pass safely.

Between cyclist and hiker, "establish communication" may involve just a wave and a nod, but between cyclist/hiker and equestrian, communication should always involve voice communication because horses identify other trail users by voice, not appearance. Please Do Not Ride (mtn bikes/horses) after heavy rains or when soil is saturated!
Trails Condition
Report
There are many trees down across the trail that we are actively working to remove. The Sunset Loop Hike to Cougar Rock has only five or six trees down on that four mile loop, and the trail from the Logging Museum to Post 8 is completely clear of downed trees but from Post 8 to 9 there are many trees.

The Arnold Rim Trail Association is overflowing with gratitude to the entire community for stepping up and donating $10,000 to match the National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance grant that we received to rebuild 16 miles of the Arnold Rim Trail. The goal was achieved in just a month's time. We deeply appreciate your support!
