801 is a dedication to the progression of culture, community, and coffee in Salt Lake City. Beans roasted locally, brewed fresh, and enjoyed daily. Our roasting business was created in the hopes of spreading coffee knowledge around the globe. We hope to both teach and learn from the businesses and individuals in our community and create new ways of utilizing coffee beans.
At 801 we pull what is known as a "Ristretto Shot" which means that the grind is finer than your average espresso shot. In turn, the shot pulls at a much slower rate and with a thicker consistency, which increases the flavor potency. Latte art is our way of showing our customers that we care about coffee in every aspect.

At 801 Coffee Roasters, it is our dream to serve smooth, flavorful, craft coffee to as many people as we can. We set out with one main goal: to never stop improving our craft. We pride ourselves on quality, fresh roasted coffee and always supporting other local businesses in Salt Lake City. From our chai concentrate to all of our in-house syrups, every ingredient is bought locally and made from scratch by us.
