Footsteps Child Care

We acknowledge children know how to learn, we are there to support their learning experience. Learning occurs anywhere and anytime. We purposefully observe what the children are doing while considering their developmental level. The program provides the children with the space and time to discover and develop their learning.

Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, gardening and activity clubs. Children are allowed to bring bikes, scooters, and other NON-MOTORIZED wheels to ride during the day. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn and children may only use the items they bring.

Footsteps Child Care has planned a fun summer for school age and middle school children; we are planning to offer many activities with lots of outside time, to provide learning in a safe and healthy environment led by experienced Footsteps Staff. All activities are done with the campers' assigned small group, adhering to the requirements of California Community Care Licensing and the San Mateo Health Department.

Children with special needs will be considered for admission on an individual basis. A parent or guardian is required to visit the site for an orientation before the child attends.
