Canton BJJ/Fight Sports Cherokee is a certified affiliate school under world renowned Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and grappling competitor Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu. Brazilain jiu-jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling. BJJ teaches a smaller person how to defend him/herself against a larger stronger adversary by using leverage and proper technique.
Taking the fight to the ground then allows you to apply joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent. Our youth BJJ program is the best in the area. All classes are conducted in a fun and safe environment. Bullying is escalating more and more in schools around the country.
