Ho'ala School
Ho'ala Education is a philosophy that uses a coherent system of practices to develop citizens of personal integrity who act effectively for the greater good. Ho'ala Education is based on the work of Alfred Adler as articulated by Rudolf Dreikurs and others. Adler held that human behavior is purposive or future oriented, although unconsciously so.

School and home partner to create environments where children develop habits of responsibility, respect, resourcefulness, and responsiveness through example and experience, and as a result, flourish as successful, healthy, and contributing human beings. Honor your decision-making boundaries and those of others.

Testimonials
Report
Hoala School has played a significant role in our children's education and development since we discovered it in 2018. The emphasis on encouraging and supporting each student's social-emotional skills and well-being while establishing positive relationships in addition to the focus on academics was influential in our decision of immediately transitioning one of our children, who had been experiencing bullying at school, to Hoala mid-year.
Middle School
Report
It is our goal to create caring communities where students attend to those around them in a compassionate, loving atmosphere. Teachers are natural, genuine, and competent. For some students their teacher will be the one adult in their life that believes in them so that they can resist the pull towards negative choices.
