Dr. Paul Steinberg has practiced podiatry in Ocala since 1995. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from BUSPM in Miami and completed a surgical residency. Board-certified with hospital privileges at multiple facilities, he specializes in advanced foot and ankle care.

Founder
Dr. Lloyd Steinberg established Ocala's first podiatric practice in 1962. A pioneer in hospital privileges for podiatrists, he performed Ocala's first internal fixation bunion procedure. His community leadership included founding local running clubs and health initiatives before passing in 2020.

Dr. Steinberg is an extremely knowledgeable physician. He has taken care of my husband's recurrent medical condition that he had which no other doctors could do. I travel 140 miles round trip for my husband's appointment. If I had to travel longer distance to take my husband for his appointments, I would do it for the peace of mind Dr. Steinberg will prevent my husband's condition returning. The staff is very friendly, helpful and good at doing their jobs.

I have been a patient of Dr Paul S. He is the greatest. He has helped me so much with diagnosis and treatment of Plantar Fasciitis and Reflex sympathetic dystrophy. I dont know what I would have done without him, his knowledge, compassion and care with the RSD. Thank you Dr. Paul S!

Dr Steinberg has done a wonderful effort to take care of a diabetic ulcer that recurs. Would not go to any other doctor. He patiently sees my ulcer through heal and high water .

Dr Steinberg rufuse to see me when I refused to give his office my full social security number. They have my driver license, Insurance Card, took my picture. I filled out all of their ther requested information. Don't give them your social security number. It isn't required. BCBS specifically says it is not required. You are setting yourself up for indentity theft. All anyone has to do is take a picture with a phone of the paperwork and they can become you!.. Don't do it!
