My goal is to assist you in finding joy and healing in your life and relationships. Since 1995, my private practice has encompassed the treatment of individuals, couples, and groups for a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, addictions and relationship problems. Although I incorporate many approaches in my work, my focus remains the family-of-origin treatment model developed by Pia Mellody.
In addition, I utilize much of my training with Terry Real in my couples' work. I am also a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT) and am trained in EMDR. I facilitate individual empowerment and relationship workshops as well, featured on my Intensives Page, appropriately named as a large amount of work is accomplished in a short amount of time; typically one (1) to four (4) days.

Individual Work
Report
All individual treatment depends on what the client needs. Most of my individual work is based on the methodology of Pia Mellody. I assist the client identifying areas of immaturity often resulting from childhood trauma. Clients then learn how to re-parent themselves around certain core issues to in order to develop a more mature, functional adult self.
Owning Your Power

The Owning Your Power workshop is a 4-day intensive that investigates the origins of adult dysfunctional behaviors. In this revolutionary educational and experiential workshop, participants learn to identify the childhood wounds which fuel adult dysfunction, i.e.: depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders and relationship difficulties.

Couples who have been "stuck" in dysfunctional patterns of interaction learn how to develop and utilize functional boundaries with each other in this workshop. Communication focuses around the simple but necessary element of respect, thereby deepening the couple's intimacy as they struggle to know and be known by each other.
One Day Follow Up Workshops
Report
This workshop is designed for past participants of the Owning Your Power family of origin intensive who want to solidify and reinforce the work they began in the intensive. The format consists of a brief "check-in" by each participant about current "triggers"-- or ways in which their adult adaptive behaviors are interfering with their lives and relationships.
