Greenwoods Camp for Boys

More than a sports camp, Greenwoods is a community focused on inclusion and character development. Whether you are a competitive athlete, a musician, or love water sports. Greenwoods encourages boys to gain a sense of independence, but that does not mean they are doing it on their own. Our counselors, coaches and directors support and encourage boys every step of the way.

We provide an encouraging atmosphere where campers are challenged to take healthy risks and form authentic relationships with peers and counselors. Each camper is respected as an important member of our community, and together, we celebrate differences and achievements. Campers create their own activity schedules, with parent input, to tailor an experience that fuels their interests and ignites their passions.

Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods has been our home away from home since we were both 10 years old. Together, we have over 60 years of camp experience; we spent summers as campers, counselors and now directors of our camp. Since 1935, Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods have helped children discover new passions and learn valuable life skills, and prepared them to be successful in life.

We believe that any camp is only as good as its people. This is why we select only the finest counselors to guide and care for our campers. Our mature and dynamic staff are chosen from students, graduates and teachers from schools all over the world. Each year we receive over 1,800 applications and select fewer than 10% of the applicants to serve on our staff.
Delicious Food

Meal time is family time at our camp! Our chefs work together to provide a delicious and nutritious menu. Dining is family style, and campers sit with their cabin group and counselors at each meal. In addition to the main course we have an "options" room in our dining hall featuring breakfast bars, salad bars at lunch and dinner, a pasta bar at dinner, and a gluten-free bar at every meal.
